Television’s golden girl, Prachi Desai’s was born 12th September 1988 in Surat, Gujarat where she lived until her grade 9. She completed her higher studies in Pune. She attended Sinhagad college, Pune. Her father and uncle are associated with Gujrati theater. She began her acting career with TV serial Kasam Seh at age 17. She became the surprise winner of Jhalak Dikhla Ja 2 after returning back to the show as a wild card entry.
